IDF encouraging Quality education to developing an enabling child friendly and learning environment in schools, increase enrolment and retention or bridge schooling for those children who are out of school or not continuing their school for quality formal education. IDF initiatives various projects to ensure Quality education by upgrade the physical structures of the schools and equip them with better amenities to facilitate favorable environment for mental and physical development for the children of the most disadvantaged communities.
Promote Modern Education Technics and Methodology such as Beautification of schools like whitewashing of classrooms, wall and hand Painting which enhance students interest in study and increasing the attendance of students in classes; Conducted Remedial class in schools for weaker students who are dropouts and not compatible for regular class; Setting up Smart Classes which help students in better ideation, concept elaboration, improvement in reading skills and academic achievement; Strengthen School Management Committee (SMC) and Child parliament. IDF also construct Male- female separate Toilets and Hand washing stations in schools for ensuring access to safe drinking water, child-friendly, functional sanitation facilities and a healthy learning environment.
